Marks of a Healthy Church Family (Part 2 of 3) 1 Thessalonians 5:14–22

In this message, Pastor Tim continues our study through 1 Thessalonians 5, exploring what it truly means to be a member of a healthy church family. Last week, we learned that a healthy church isn’t built on programs or personalities—it’s built on Spirit-led love toward one another.

This week, we shift our focus from our relationships with others to our relationship with God Himself. Just as an orchestra stays in harmony by keeping its eyes on the conductor, believers stay in unity by keeping their eyes on Christ. When our vertical fellowship with God is strong, our horizontal fellowship with others will flourish.

In verses 16–18, Paul gives three short but powerful commands that are easy to memorize but impossible to live without Him: Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing, give thanks.

Through practical teaching and vivid illustrations, this message challenges us to live with Spirit-led attitudes that reflect the character and will of Christ.
