John 4:1-42
"When a Savior Meets a Sinner (part 2)"

What happens when Jesus meets someone carrying the weight of shame, sin, religious questions, and a painful past?

In John 4, Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. She came looking for water, but she encountered something far greater—the Messiah, the Savior who knew everything about her and still offered her hope.

In this message, Pastor Tim continues through John 4 and looks at two powerful truths:

The Savior Seeks Worship — Jesus teaches that true worship is not ultimately about a particular location or religious tradition. God seeks those who will worship Him “in spirit and in truth.” True worship begins when we recognize who Jesus is and respond to His truth.

The Savior Sends a Witness — After meeting Jesus, the Samaritan woman leaves her waterpot and tells others, “Come, see a man.” She didn't know everything, but she knew what Jesus had done for her. Her testimony led others to hear Jesus for themselves.

The story ends with the people of Samaria declaring: “This is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.” — John 4:42 That message is still true today.

Jesus is not merely a figure from history, a teacher, or a prophet. He is the Christ—the Savior of the world. And He offers salvation to people regardless of their background, past, or circumstances.
